The original and well known, MAKERS MARK, was named after the famous, handmade Kentucky Bourbon Whiskey. He was the first dappled buck to make an impact on the American Boer goat industry. MAX Boer Goats (PA) and Bon Joli Farm (TX) have promoted his progeny and they continue to highlight pedigrees of some of the most well-known spotted lines in the country today, including Crcr Aged To Perfection Ennobled and Bon Joli / Lazy ST Copperhead. MAKERS MARK was a very structurally correct buck, whose strongest heritable trait (in addition to color) is putting beautiful front ends and length of body on his offspring.
